What is TripMedic Video Medical Assistance?

With TripMedic Video Medical Assistance, you can access a certified doctor by secure online video through your smartphone, tablet or computer, from Monday – Saturday 09:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. MX Time
It is a low-cost, convenient alternative to Urgent Care Clinic visits or waiting days to get an appointment with your primary care doctor for non-emergency medical conditions. Our doctors can diagnose your symptoms, treat common illnesses and explain what further steps you should take.

Is appropriate for every medical condition?

No! It is designed to handle non-emergency medical conditions and can often substitute for a doctor’s office, Urgent Care Clinic, or Emergency Room visit for common conditions like the flu or pink eye. However, it is not intended to replace your primary care doctor or to be used in life-threatening emergencies.
You should not use it if you are experiencing a medical emergency. In case of a life-threatening emergency, dial your country of residence emergency number immediately.

When can I start using my Video Medical Assistance service?

You can start using TripMedic Video Medical Assistance immediately after we receive your booking request and the payment through Paypal associated with it. Upon payment receipt, a TripMedic Customer care team will get in touch with you to schedule the appointment based on your request and matching it with doctor first availability.
It is also possible to request a doctor of your choice, if you have one.

Want to go one step further? Be sure to fill out your medical history profile to better prepare the doctor for your appointment.

When is TripMedic Video Medical Assistance service available?

The service is available from Monday – Saturday 09:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. MX Time, but you can book it anytime you want. 

Use it anytime you have a non-emergency medical condition, are unable to see your primary care provider, or when you simply prefer a convenient, cost effective alternative to a doctor visit, care center, or clinic.

How much does it cost to use TripMedic Video Medical Assistance service?

The service cost only 800 $ MXN (+50 $ MXN for the handling Fee) and request to consult a healthcare professional now, or book an appointment for later, whenever you want!

Refund Policy:
You can cancel your appointment by contacting the TripMedic Customer Team (WhatsApp +52 55 6582 0078 or email contact@tripmedic.com) and receive a refund, under the following conditions:

2hrs before the call scheduled time, you will get the full refund (minus 50$ MXN Handling fee). 

Between 2hrs and 1hr you will be refunded 50% of the service cost (minus 50$ MXN Handling fee).

Under 1hr, you will not be entitled to any refund and you will be charged 100% of the service cost.

Can TripMedic Video Medical Assistance be accessed on mobile devices, tablet and computer?

Yes, it can be accessed on mobile devices (smartphone), tablet and computer with an Internet connection.

We recommend to have: 

  • Highspeed internet connection
  • A webcam with at least 1.3 megapixels
  • Microphone (most devices already have microphone built in)

Can the doctors order a COVID-19 (Coronavirus) test?

Due to current limitations, doctors cannot currently order tests for COVID-19. In-person care from a health care provider is currently required to collect a specimen (nose or throat swab) which is then submitted to a lab for COVID-19 testing. 

For COVID-19 please always refer to your local government guidance and guidelines.
